When I was little, I did well in school. I got good grades, but I didn’t study much. I basically went through the motions of school as though I was asleep. I carried on with that zombie-like, somewhat unconscious state of “learning” through High School and College, where I double-majored in the Sciences and Arts. Then in Law School, I hid behind my laptop, and actually slept through class.
6 years ago (which was about 12 years after I graduated from Law School), I had what people considered a “dream job,” working as Senior Corporate Counsel for a multi-national medical device company, making great money, and living a materially comfy life. But it was a life I was living like a Zombie. I was living my life asleep. Uninspired. Passionless. Apathetic towards the world around me.
Then one day, I found myself in the throes of a devastating breakup with yet another boyfriend, when a friend recommended that I get a “Cord Cutting” from a Guide in the Modern Mystery School. On my way to see this Guide, I checked her website, and I saw a blurb on another modality called a “Life Activation.” I thought, “I don’t know what that is. But it looks cool. Why not?” So, I got the Cord Cutting and the Life Activation done that same day. As I was walking out of the Guide’s office, I saw a flier for a 2-day Empower Thyself Class taking place weeks later. I didn’t know what THAT was, and I happened to be free that weekend, so I figured, “Why not?” and ended up taking the Class, with no expectations whatsoever.
But as I sat in the class, the things the Guide said were like an alarm clock going off. And just like that –> my eyes opened! I became aware, and I was finally awake! And it wasn’t just that I was consciously learning. I COULDN’T GET ENOUGH OF IT!
From then on, my life spiraled upward. EVERY aspect of my life flourished: My health, career, finances, self-confidence, my relationships with others – Everything. I transitioned to a job that was more aligned with who I am, making more money than ever, and living more royally on a daily basis as I continued to train with the Modern Mystery School in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, and London – all the while feeling more Joy, Love, Passion, and Empowerment than ever before.
After 18 years in the Legal profession, I know to follow the evidence when determining if something is worth it. For me, all the astronomical benefits from the healings and training I received through the Modern Mystery School are self-evident. I learned from the most amazing teachers around the world who not only taught me to have love, respect, and compassion for myself and others, but who also helped me remember who I AM. To say that it was all worth it would be the understatement of my life.
