The term spiritual warrior is used to describe one who is always striving to become a better version of themselves in body, mind, and spirit. One who is on a path of knowing thyself, this path leads to greater awareness and mindfulness, which allows one to recognize and confront their shadows or the negative aspects of themselves. When these inner obstacles are dealt with and healed, they are better able to live a more joyful life and have a positive influence on those they meet. The Spiritual Warrior moves willfully in life, not allowing the pollution of the mind or influence of others to affect them, but is guided by their heart and their passions to manifest peace and mindfulness.
This workshop is designed to introduce the aspects of what it means to live as a spiritual warrior and what that looks like in your daily spiritual practice.
Some topics that will be discussed:
• Chi, ki, energy
• The connection with martial arts
• Physical and energetic awareness
• Will and overcoming the mind/ego
• The importance of breathing
• Flowing energy in life
There will also be some light movement and exercises, so please dress comfortably.
